Asavie Technologies signs up to O2's accelerator programme in UK

Dublin, IRELAND - December 17 2007: Irish technology firm Asavie Technologies has announced that it has been accepted into the O2 Accelerator Programme in the UK. The agreement with O2 means that AccessMyLan from Asavie Technologies will enter the O2 'incubator process', enabling the product to be sold by O2 sales people in the UK and used in trial sales activities.

AccessMyLan is a secure remote access service, for operators and service providers, which allows workers to access office files and documents from remote locations. O2's Accelerator Programme only accepts the very best products and applications developed by third parties.

Products and applications allowed into the incubator process must meet a number of key success criteria, including the following: must be technically robust and provide a good customer experience; must have enhanced or provided new sales of mobile data solutions; must have shown increased 'voice' usage; and must have shown a positive impact on customer satisfaction levels.

Ralph Shaw, CEO, Asavie Technologies, said: "Our acceptance into the O2 Accelerator Programme marks a significant step forward for Asavie. Having set up in business just three years ago, we have ambitious plans to build our customer base and revenues during 2008, and our operations in the UK will play a major role in this process".
