Imagine & Asavie Partner to Deliver Major Productivity Boost for Irish Business

Imagine launches cost-effective service for mobile & remote working service designed by Asavie Technologies to drive productivity for SME and enterprise customers

September 10th 2008: Imagine Communications Group, the leading alternative supplier of telecoms services in the Irish market, has announced the addition of AccessMyLan - a unique business mobility solution designed by Dublin-based Asavie Technologies - to its service portfolio.

The solution provides an easy and secure way for businesses to make staff more productive while away from the office by providing users with timely remote access to company data and files from anywhere at anytime.

Ralph Shaw, CEO, Asavie Technologies, said: "We are delighted to add Imagine as an AccessMyLan partner. With more than 80,000 broadband customers Imagine's leading position in the broadband market makes them the ideal partner to deliver AccessMyLan remote access solutions to Irish businesses".

"Whether it's a sales person on the road instantly reacting to a customer e-mail or being able to access information without having to return to the office, AccessMyLan helps businesses deliver better productivity for as little as 50c per day without any up-front costs," said Mr. Shaw.

Following its acquisition last June of wireless broadband provider, Irish Broadband, Imagine has cemented its position as the number one alternative supplier to the Irish business community*, all of whom can achieve productivity benefits with AccessMyLan from Imagine.

AccessMyLan is a product of Asavie Technologies, a leading supplier of office mobility solutions for the communications service providers. Under the terms of the partnership between the firms, Asavie has provided Imagine with a hosted, branded remote access service for their customers.

Ruairi Jennings, Commercial Director, Imagine Communications, said: "The recent acquisition of Irish Broadband by Imagine, has significantly increased our share of the small/medium business sector. Imagine provides a wide range of services to businesses including voice, fixed and wireless broadband, conferencing and data networking solutions".

"Our agreement with Asavie means that we have now enhanced the offering to companies in this space by providing them with a simple, secure, and cost-effective way to remotely access office networks," said Mr. Jennings.

AccessMyLan enables remote users on browsers, laptops, desktops or mobile phones to securely connect to their office networks using DSL, WiFi or Mobile broadband. Users with iPhone, Windows Mobile and Nokia handsets can easily connect to the company Exchange server for instant access to email, calendar and contacts.
