Asavie marks Global IoT Day by delivering connectivity platform for Dublin Airport Hackathon
Asavie partners with Intel, Firmwave and Vodafone at IoT Hardware Hackathon
Dublin, Ireland – April 11 – Asavie, marked Global IoT day today, by announcing that its Asavie PassBridge IoT Connectivity platform will provide the connectivity infrastructure for the upcoming #hackDUB Dublin Airport IoT hardware hackathon. In conjunction with Firmwave, Intel and Vodafone, Asavie will provide the framework to enable engineers and designers combine ideas and skills to design hardware and software solutions to enhance the customer experience at Dublin airport.
The event, sponsored by Dublin Airport Authority and RTE Digital, and hosted by DCUAlpha at Dublin City University’s Innovation campus, will take place from April 15th to 17th. Between 150 and 200 hackers are expected to take part in the three day Hackathon with the overall winning solution winning a cash prize of €7,000, and the runner up receiving €3,000.
