Paddy Holahan

Paddy is an active angel investor and has been Non-Executive Director and advisor to numerous technology companies. Paddy founded NewBay Software in 2002 (sold to RIM), prior to this Paddy was EVP of Marketing and Product Management at Baltimore Technologies (Nasdaq/FTSE) and was co-founder and CEO of East Coast Software. He received a first-class honours degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and graduated from the Leadership for Growth programme at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Paddy is a keen cyclist and one of the driving forces behind the annual Paris2Nice charity road cycle.

Ralph is an experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully building and expanding software companies internationally. As a results-driven leader, Ralph is very focused on delivering on revenue and profitability targets and  has always brought this discipline to his extensive experience in both ‘start-up’ and established operations in North America and Europe. Prior to co-founding Asavie, Ralph held senior executive positions with AEP, Baltimore Technologies and Mentec International Limited. Ralph has graduated from the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Ralph is a big rugby fan and an avid supporter of the Leinster and Irish teams.

Barry O’Sullivan

Barry brings a wealth of experience and network connections to Asavie having spent most of his career in Silicon Valley. He is currently MD of Palo Alto Technology Partners, and prior to this was CEO and founder of Altocloud, acquired by Genesys in 2018. a software company with a mission of improving customer engagement experiences . Prior to Altocloud, he was Senior Vice President at Cisco Systems and has been General Manager of several multi-billion dollar divisions including Collaboration, Unified Communications and Voice over IP. Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University College Cork and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Limerick, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Santa Clara University, California. In his spare time, Barry enjoys cycling around Connemara and California.

Daniel is the author of Carrier Grade Voice over IP, and co-author of 3G Wireless Networks, both published by McGraw-Hill.

Tom has a long engineering career, delivering data/telecommunication and security products on-time and in-budget for industry leaders such as Baltimore Technologies, AT&T Network Systems/Lucent, Eicon Technology and AEP Systems. Tom has computer science qualifications from Trinity College, Dublin City University and an MBA from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD, in 2000. When not sitting in front of his screen, Tom can be found spinning on his Specialized road bike around the hills of Dublin and Wicklow.
