Applying the traditional security framework to IoT devices doesn’t work. Asavie PassBridge® creates new control points in the network and offers granular control of the IP Network Layer. With Asavie PassBridge® devices are authorized and authenticated onto the network. This produces an asset register that is dynamically linked to the true state of the network. Absentee devices are immediately noticed without costly ‘are-you-there’ polls. Asset register-driven tasks like firmware updates can now be delegated to the network layer which is now responsive and API driven.
